I’M KING OF THE WORLD
Isn’t the view magical from up here? Soaring high above the harbor, this seagull seems to be the king of the world.
I was standing on the Sun Deck of the Queen Mary when I captured this seagull mid-flight. It’s almost as if he’s superimposed into the Long Beach Marina landscape – but, he’s not. The shadowing on the underside of his wings creates a sense of multiple dimension that is quite unexpected.

The Marina shot itself is good from that perspective, the seagull is a bonus for sure!……:)

What a beautiful place to be on the Sun Deck of the Queen Mary. It would have been good with the seagull outlined against the sky but still excellent.

Have you ever spent a night on the Queen Mary? I did about 10 yrs back and it was spooky, nothing happened but it has a eerieness to it for sure. Too bad the gull blends into the background a microsecond later and it be in front of the sky or perhaps the water.
