A STEP BACK IN TIME

The date is May 27, 1936.  You have just boarded the most luxurious steamship in the world.  Much grander and far larger than the Titanic, you are one of the fortunate people to experience the maiden voyage of the Queen Mary.  Enjoy your journey.

The view from those wishing they could exchange places with you.

  4. What a gorgeous job you did with the great Lady. How lovely and timeless she looks in sepia.

Do you have a series in color in her “modern” dress? It’s been some years since I last visited her – but I recall a wonderful shopping promenade complete with the high heel marks of long past famous guests – the then modern “plastic” handrails and fittings, the walls in the ballroom/dining room (it’s a map isn’t it?).

And of course a ship full of ghosts!!! 🙂

I do love the sense of mistery, past and infinity given by the corridors. Amazing.

Where were you? You should write where you are when you take these shots, ‘cos I might come over there and check them out 😀
