The colour on the starburst cactus photo is amazing but it was the Western Scrub close up that most grabbed my eye as it were. The detail and the depth of field (if that’s the right term). Cool voting set-up too.

I like so many of these, it was hard to pick.
But i did anyhow; I really like the succulent and the white drapery. I agree with Fir, but I look at cacti all the time here (Southern Arizona is the Sonoran Desert), and I have a few shots like that one that I passed by. Cheers to you for not doing that. (:

That is the correct term, “depth of field” or even “DOF.” Although, I believe there is also a term “Bokeh” that refers to the quality of the blur caused by the depth of field. They are sometimes used interchangeably in photography. I hope you’ll stop by again, soon.

Really hard decision this week – but I’m going with variegated fall leaves. I would hang that on my wall. I love the colors and I’m ready for fall to begin.

Love all the white whispy flowers and ended up voting for Soft Beauty but also loved the Autumn leaves. You do make it hard for us to choose!

I voted for “red leaves against the bark” It reminds me a little of fall in Ohio. It was really hard to choose. I liked the blue scrub profile, too. Well, I really liked them all. They are beautiful.
