I JUST COULDN’T WAIT!!

You know how it is when you get so excited because you believe you’ve capture some really nice shots?  Then when you download your photos and discover you ACTUALLY did get some pretty good shots, you’re even more excited!!  Well…that’s me right now!!!  It was so great to spend four days between Christmas and the New Year photographing Zion National Park in Southern Utah!  I’m in the process of sorting through the hundreds of shots taken over those four days, but just couldn’t wait to share at least one of the shots I captured.

Stay tuned for the complete post!

I hope everyone had a great holiday!!

  24. What an absolutely outstanding shot, Steve! You’re quite right to be pleased with it, imo! You’ve captured some amazing bright orange colours with the sun hitting the rock at just the right angle! I find they contrast excellently with on the one hand the shadows, and on the other, the clear blue sky. Perfect composition in this impressive lanscape shot! How lucky you were to visit and photograph such an amazing place!
    Great work!

  30. How much fun is Zion? We went the weekend before Thanksgiving and had a great time. After our trip I finally decided it was time for the ultra-wide angle lens though. I so know that excited feeling you had about downloading all those shots. Can’t wait to see more. The one you posted is beautiful!
