I NEEDED THIS TODAY!!
Suffering from a nasty cold coupled with a deep cough led me to re-visit some of my recent photo shoot events. Happening upon this image from December 2010 caused me to stop and realize the beauty that awaits my recovery! So even though I really enjoyed this shot because I’m already weary of the four walls that have become my infirmary, I also hope you enjoy it, as well! May it remind you that spring is just around the corner!
It’s Laguna Beach, California – another one of our beautiful Orange County beaches!
And now I must wander to the medicine cabinet for a much-needed dosage of DayQuil and Mucinex! I hope everyone is doing better than I am today! Although I must say, my voice is primed and ready for any voice-over work. “You’re listening to the smooth jazz tones of 94.7 on your FM radio dial.” Ah, the tonal richness and the depth of the tenor make me want to hang on to this cold for a while…NAH!!
One of my favorite places–thank you for that. 🙂
Feel better soon!

This brings back the fond memories of the time I lived in San Diego — bright blue skies, Pacific Ocean and palm trees. Very nice shot. I do hope you feel better soon. 🙂

I wish you a speedy recovery! At least yours is an illness. I’m just a cluts. The photo is beautiful! I’m so sick of snow…. I think I’ll just gaze at your photo for a while and dream of summer. 🙂

What a beautiful beach!! I certainly could use a dose of that, myself! Sorry you’re under the weather – a lot of us have been, lately! Mucinex is the ONLY medicine that works for me (during the day) when I’m sick, it’s a WONDER drug!!

Lovely outdoor shot!!!
Some people enjoy indoor studio photography and other outdoor photography, I try both, but much prefer the outdoors 🙂 and I’m not even an “outdoors” person really!

Nice shot. Sorry to hear about your cold… I’ve never tried any of the drugs but I’d personally advise eating mandarins and oranges and drinking gallons of water! It’s what always makes my colds last barely more than 1 or 2 days.

I just came across this shot while reviewing some older event files. This was taken in December, I believe. It just struck me as a nice shot to view today! Nothing really astounding or special about it. I’m glad it remined you of your southern California days, Emily! Thanks!

Thanks, Holly! I wish I was sitting there right now in the nice warm sun! That sounds pretty nice. Being stuck in this house for 3 days is not my idea of fun!! 🙂 But, I am feeling better – just not well. Thanks for the well-wishes, though!

Felling better – but, not completely well, Catherine! The weather has lived up to its reputation!! Even the rain we had yesterday was refreshing!! I don’t mind the rain – it’s a refreshing time, I think! Everything gets so clean and clear – and some really great cloud formations make for excellent photo ops!! Thanks for jumping in here, Catherine!!

I much prefer the outdoors, too! Even if I’m doing portraits (what little I’ve done) I like taking it outside! Thanks, Michael!

Great advice, Kai! I’m trying everything – but it seems to be running its course…very slowly!! 🙂 I probably could be drinking more water!! But, I’m at least up and around today – just still running a little slowly! 🙂 Thanks for your well-wishes, Kai!

Well, a well known fact among my friends is that I’m a cluts. This time, I was walking down the hall and stumbled and I caught myself with my right leg. When I did so, I felt a pull in my calf and then a pop. Now it is seriously swollen and they think I may have torn a muscle. I’ll know more tomorrow and will be posting a blog about it.

Sorry about your cold, Steve! Have you heard of Airborne? They are effervescent tabs (kind alike alka seltzer) that you drop into water and drink. I swear by these! They boost your immune system and seem to nip colds in the bud. Around here, we can find them everywhere (drug stores, grocery stores, etc.).

I have heard of Airborne – even used it before. I just didn’t have any at the time. Maybe I should still try it. Thanks for the tip, Tracy! And, thanks for stopping by!
