MY NOSE ITCHES!!
WEEKEND UPDATE!!
Ha! That sounds like an intro to an SNL skit!
🙂
No, just my way of letting you all know that the move is over for the most part! And, my studio looks amazing!! That is…if you like empty rooms! But even though it’s empty now, in my mind I can see everything!! And, that’s the first step for me. I see things happening in my mind, then I take the steps necessary to make them happen in reality! This should be a lot of fun!
I know what you’re thinking. I can’t wait to hear the story behind the itchy nose. OK, maybe that’s not what you were thinking at all!
🙂
I shot this picture a few months ago while visiting the Fullerton Arboretum. The original shot was from a wider angle, but I really like this cropped in shot better. It’s a very serene place with a quiet little stream flowing into a very small lake. The narrow foot bridge just seemed to add to the interest of the shot.
When I was a child, our family would gather for reunions every summer. People we hadn’t seen for a year would come for this very special occasion. This scene reminds me of those days. We would gather in the park near a stream similar to this one, and from early morning until late in the evening we would play games, eat, laugh, and catch up from not seeing each other for so long.
As the reunion approached, my mother would always say, “My nose sure itches! Someone must be coming to visit!”
It’s amazing what one picture can conjure up in one’s mind. Almost…magical!
🙂
The bridge looks so wonderful. And your memories must be the same (in spite of the nose…)
Maybe your next photo is of your studio?!
