THIS TIME I’LL TELL YOU…
I’m sure we all have our reasons for living where we live. And, certainly we could all brag about that particular location! But I have to say, living in Southern California really can be special.

One of my favorite places is a gathering of eclectic shops, theme-based restaurants (like Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, ESPN Zone, and House of Blues – a few of my faves), and some of the best live entertainment you can find anywhere. Oh…and people! Did I mention the people? Many of them are tourists, but there’s always quite a collection of some of the most interesting people…well, in the world! It’s called Downtown Disney. And, Saturday found me heading over to practice my fireworks photography!!
My fireworks photography honestly needed some serious practice!! (Believe me, if you could see my images from last year…well, it was just awful!!! Even pathetic!!!) And, Downtown Disney provides the perfect place to practice, since it’s adjacent to Disneyland and they have fireworks every night!!
Getting there early allowed me to find a parking place that would provide a great view of the fireworks. It also allowed some time to stroll through some of the shops and enjoy some of the live entertainment before the show. How could you not join the dozens of people dancing to the live salsa music? That’s worth the price of admission!! Oh wait!! There is no admission!!

Last time you had to guess, but this time I’ll tell you it’s fireworks! This shot is amazingly colorful!! Most of the fireworks seem to comprise only a few colors. But this one was multi-colored.

Great colors!! Sounds like an interesting place to be with lots of opportunities for pictures with LOTS of variety.

Well I’m not sure we can ALL brag about the areas in which we live… lol… but I guess having at least a dozen castles within an hour or so’s drive isn’t too bad for the surrounding area… Do really like your firework shot though, and how great having such a location so close..
