SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COASTAL PHOTO SHOOT Part 2

I think I’m happy with that shot of the Newport Beach Pier.  Let’s get back to the car and head a little further down the Pacific Coast Highway.

Traveling south from the Newport Beach Pier, we come upon the small coastal community of Corona Del Mar.  One of my favorite places in this area is the Sherman Library and Gardens located right on PCH.  It’s a rather small historical library, but the garden area is spectacular with its numerous varieties of plants, flowers, and succulents.  I’ve stopped here on many occasions to photograph their flowers.  

Among the many images captured on this day, I found this one to be especially intriguing.  The brilliance of its color enhanced by the glimmering of the sun created a beauty worthy of display.

But, we can’t stay long.  It’s time to get back in the car and continue down the coast!
