OPPOSITES ATTRACT?
Well, maybe not so much in this case.
🙂
My last two photo shoots have included models posing from completely different perspectives.
First, a sampling from the more common shoot. For this image, I used three soft box lights. The first was my main (located to my right), the second was my fill (located to my left), and the third was my hair light (located to my left, but behind and above the model).
Then, a sampling from my ZOMBIE shoot. For this image, I used two soft boxes and a strobe light. The first soft box was my main light (located directly in front of the model at floor level directed upward to highlight the facial shadows). The second soft box was my fill (located to my left). And my third light was a strobe with barn doors highlighting the background to provide the needed separation from the model (located to my left behind the model and directed at the background). I decided to convert to black and white to enhance the effect. Definitely less common.
Both interesting! Both exciting! Both very different, especially when it came to lighting and make-up.
I like the way you shot that angry face.

Thanks, GG! Sometimes it can be fun…and challenging to do something out of the ordinary! I enjoyed this challenge.
